ABOUT US (in words, pictures and now, sound)       

RADIO TALLAGHT is a series of weekend radio broadcasts that aim to celebrate and explore Tallaght's rich diversity of environment, culture and people. RADIO TALLAGHT is a project of Tallaght Community Arts in partnership with Tallaght Radio Forum.

Tallaght Radio Forum is a group of community enthusiasts who have an interest in radio as a means of community development. It was set up in 2008, initially to bring together interested individuals and groups to explore the concept of community radio. An initial seminar was held in Tymon Bawn community centre funded by the participants and South Dublin County Council.

Tallaght Community Arts a pro-active organisation working with local community groups to activate arts programmes in line with the needs of the wider Tallaght community: geographically, culturally and socially. Tallaght Community Arts work focuses on participatory arts, encouraging people of all ages to be involved in the making of art. Tallaght Community Arts aim is to work in partnership with local and national agencies in a cross-sector approach to sustainable community development, which puts people and culture at the centre.
